Case [font]


Description

Three main types of cases have been identified: uppercase, lowercase and small caps. Uppercases are capital letters, lowercases are minuscule letters and small caps are uppercase letters that are reduced to the x-height of the typeface.

Importance

Identifying the type of case that allows a better visibility, legibility and readability of text will aid designers in developing Universally Designed signs and displays.
